A Knife Game Where Every Slice Splits
In most slicing games the fruit just pops and disappears. In Slice Rush it actually comes apart. The blade cuts each piece along the angle it hits, so you see the inside: lemon segments, the ring of seeds in a kiwi, the red seeds of a pomegranate, the layers of a cake. The halves fall onto the board and juice splashes across it.
Food comes stacked in little towers, and the knife drops straight down through them, so one good flip can cut four things at once. It’s a one-tap game and it’s pretty relaxed. It’s also hard to put down.
How to Play
- Tap to flip. The knife jumps up and forward, spins, then turns blade-down as it falls. Anything the blade passes through is sliced and adds to your cash.
- Stick the landing. When the blade meets a board, the knife sticks and you’re ready for the next flip. If the handle hits first, the knife drops and rolls over to try again. A dead-straight landing is a Perfect and pays a small bonus.
- Tap again in mid-air to go higher and further. You’ll need it for wide gaps, spike pits, the food hanging up high and the climb at the end.
- Avoid the hazards. Red spikes and bombs end the run. Rotten food won’t, but it eats into your cash.
- Land on the biggest multiplier you can reach at the end of the level.
Fever and Combos
Cut several things in one flight and you start a combo. Each slice in the chain pays a bit more, and the sound climbs with it. Every slice also fills the Fever meter. When it’s full, your knife glows gold, time slows down and everything pays double for five seconds.
Chef Orders
Most levels come with an order from the chef, something like three lemons and two kiwis. Everything on the order is somewhere on the course. Fill it and you get a cash bonus plus an instant Fever.
Landing the Big Multiplier
Every level ends on a staircase of blocks: x2, x3, x5, x10, x25, x50 and x100. The first steps are easy. The higher ones sit further apart, so you need a well-timed second tap to reach them. In later levels there are ÷2 blocks lower down that catch knives that fall short.
Five Worlds and Endless Levels
Slice Rush doesn’t run out of levels. Every five levels the world changes, from Green Meadow to Blue Lagoon, Lilac Hills, Golden Dunes and Coral Coast, and the courses get longer, with wider gaps and more spikes and bombs. From level 10, every fifth level is a bonus level full of cash and gold bars. Each level has three stars to win, so there’s always a reason to go back and land a jump cleaner.
Tips
- Don’t rush. A flip takes about a second. Let the knife settle blade-down before you tap again, unless you need the extra distance.
- Tap the second time near the top of the jump. That carries you furthest, which is what you want on wide gaps, spike pits and high steps.
- Look up. Some of the best prizes float above the normal path, but a greedy extra flip can carry you into a bomb.
- Fever pays most when lots of food comes in a row, so don’t waste it on a sparse stretch.
Games Like Slice Master
If you came here looking for a knife flip game like Slice Master, Slice It All or Knife Hit, this is the same kind of quick one-tap fun. The difference is the food. It’s stacked, it splits for real, and there’s a chef’s order to fill. Levels are short, so it’s easy to fit one more in.
Questions Players Ask
Is Slice Rush Free to Play?
Yes. It's free in your browser. There's nothing to download or install, and you don't need an account.
What Kind of Knife Game Is This?
It's a one-tap knife flip game. Each tap makes your knife jump and spin, and anything the blade drops through gets sliced. It isn't the finger-stabbing knife game, and no real knife is needed, just a mouse, a keyboard or a finger.
Is Slice Rush Like Slice Master?
If you've played Slice Master or Slice It All, you'll feel at home. You flip a knife along a course and cut things on the way. Slice Rush adds stacked food, chef orders, Fever mode and a multiplier staircase at the end of every level.
Can I Play Slice Rush on My Phone?
Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap anywhere on the game to flip the knife.
How Do I Make the Knife Stick?
After a flip the knife turns blade-down on its own as it falls, so most landings stick. If the handle hits first, the knife drops and rolls over for another try. A badly timed extra tap can still spin it the wrong way.
What Do Spikes and Bombs Do?
Touching the red spikes or a bomb ends the run right away. Bombs glow red when your knife gets close. Rotten food is less harsh. It costs you a quarter of the cash from that level and breaks your combo.
What Is Fever?
Every slice fills the Fever meter. When it's full, your knife turns gold, time slows for a moment and every slice pays double for five seconds.
How Do Chef Orders Work?
Most levels show a small order card, like three lemons and two kiwis. Slice everything on it to earn a cash bonus and an instant Fever.
How Do Multipliers Work?
The level ends on a staircase of blocks from x2 up to x100. The highest block your knife sticks into multiplies all the cash from that level. The high blocks need a well-timed tap in mid-air.
How Do I Earn Three Stars?
You get one star for finishing, one for filling the chef order and one for landing on the top block. On levels without an order, the second star is for slicing most of the food.
Do New Knives Change the Game?
No. Knives are just for looks, so it all comes down to your timing. You buy them with the coins you earn.
Can I Turn the Music Down?
Yes. Open Settings from the main menu or the pause menu to set music and sound effects separately, or to switch vibration off.
Is My Progress Saved?
Yes. Your level, coins, stars, knives and settings are saved in your browser on this device.
